Challenge:
Welshot Photographic Academy faced a challenge in attracting new members. They needed a way to stand out from traditional photography clubs and make joining feel accessible and inviting, especially for those intimidated by the idea of joining as photography novices among unfamiliar faces.
Solution:
To address this, we produced a series of documentary-style videos offering a behind-the-scenes look at Welshot events. Each video featured candid “fly-on-the-wall” footage, along with brief interviews, to authentically showcase the warm, inclusive environment that sets Welshot apart. Viewers could see real participants, activities, and the welcoming community atmosphere, providing them with a genuine preview of what to expect.
Execution:
The videos were edited with bright, animated branding and cheerful graphics to enhance the upbeat, friendly vibe. Each element was designed to reflect Welshot’s supportive and encouraging environment, aligning with the academy’s mission to make photography accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Outcome:
These engaging, insightful videos helped break down barriers for potential members, positioning Welshot as an inviting and unique community for photography enthusiasts of all levels.
